I began my counseling journey as a mobile therapist and behavior specialist working with foster children, their foster families and birth families. I also assisted a local psychologist writing psychological evaluations. I then worked at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center counseling dual diagnosis clients. I finally landed at a local mental health agency as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and for 10+ years served children, adolescents and adults in that capacity.
